I know, I know… Sounds like the entry line to a bar joke, but after nine days, I managed to transform two old jibs into a winter boat cover for Second Star.

The cover is to protect the fore deck from the elements during winter and prevent further freeze damage to the cored deck.
Recycled Sails as Boat Cover
A simple hatch cover was made to fit the aft hatch. It has a leak and this will prevent water intrusion into the cabin.
