Wanting to get away from boat projects today,
I took a little drive up to Annapolis along the back roads, stopping to take a few pictures along the way. The e are several little marinas on Rock Hold Creek like this one located at the foot of a bridge on the way to the Deale Post Office. Sure looks peaceful! There is a popular restaurant opposite the marina and a public pier from which I took this picture.
Continuing up the road towards the grocery store, Christopher’s, I take Muddy Creek Road and pass this charming little house. I cannot count the number of times I passed and wanted to take a picture. It looks a little rough, but is located on a very quiet part of Muddy Creek and shaded by many nice trees.
Looking the other direction, there is a small farm set back from the road enough to be free from road traffic noise. Looks like the buildings have grown in incremental stages over the years.
And lastly, my destination… the Double T restaurant, one of my favourites in Annapolis. Although it looks deserted with no people or cars, the parking lot was full as usual and the restaurant packed with customers. Yes, I had some chocolate “mouse” cake. Yummy!
